Commander's Column

Hello Comrades,

Spring Time in the Rockies! Baseball, warmer and brighter days, and of course spring cleaning, I hope you've weathered the winter in good shape.

In April the Post will select new leadership. Please participate and come to the Post meeting at 7PM on Monday, April 21, 2008. On May 16th we will hold the Post Officer Installation meeting dinner at 6PM.

The VFW is an organization of veterans helping veterans! If you know of a veteran or family of a veteran in need, please let us know. If you know of an eligible veteran interested in our Post please ask them to join.

Our upcoming events include the Calhan Colorado Loyalty Parade on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 11AM and our Memorial Day breakfast, Monday, May 26th from 7AM to 10AM at the Post.

Please include: Name of Deceased, Date, Funeral Home handling arrangements (if possible) and your name and/or other point of contact phone number.
